 8) Was able to replace Sprint visual voicemail with its T-Mobile counterpart.  :-\ The only obstacle now seems to be the WiFi calling apps.  :-X Any suggestions?  Your help is appreciated, I will try this procedure on another phone when I complete the conversion of this one.

About Wi-Fi calling that's a Sprint Wi-Fi app issue, it have hardcoded Sprint servers so it only works with Sprint, by the way there are a lot of free WiFi calling apps on Play Store that will allow you to use such service!

N910PSPT5DQI5  is this firmware supported for unlocking?

Yes, anyway we noticed this week QI0 and above ROMs (e.g. QI5) requires the engineering bootloader to be flashed in order for the unlock to work.

This one works on N910P on QI5:

The instructions to flash a zip with TWRP are here, just use the above zip instead of the SuperSU zip:

When done proceed to unlock, it will work.
