I have been searchig the web really hard, i csnt seem to find the answer anywhere. Say 2 diffrent samsung phones both have a modem file of for example OH1, are they compatablw between devices. It is my understanding that one of the galaxy s4's have comperable specs and i was thinking about using the modem on sm-t217s tab3

Afaik modem files are compiled with a list of supported models, Odin fail when you try to flash a modem on a not supported phones model, you can try, the worst it can happen is that you will get an error, phone/tablet won't be damaged.
See you ;-)

Please use Sammobile:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8-plus/SM-G955U/

Consider to unlock your device before to upgrade it, because it seems there is no root for RB1 yet.

Any Updates on Unlocking SM-G960U-SPR & SM-G965U-SPR. Anyone know of the status of Carrier Unlocking the Galaxy S9 Sprint Variant besides wiping the IMEI and writing a complete new one? The Gurus are Charging $200 for that service and it’s currently the only way to unlock the Sprint S9 that I have found so far. Any one else know the current findings or solutions to do the unlock without touching the current IMEI?
