I reflashed theOK2 ROM three times and wiped between each flash.  It still wont show the phone number in Status but it's working well.

Now.... any chance of getting this working with a Project Fi SIM?  The phone works to call and message but there is no mobile data.

Thanks for you help.

Gary

Hi, first time I have heard of Project Fi!

It appears google has a link to click for support if voice, mms or data isn't working here https://support.google.com/fi/answer/6224695?hl=en&ref_topic=4596517

I tried to lookup their APN settings but it appears they may contain a unique password that google must supply you for data to work. (try without though)
Here is the apn details I found though, (contact google about the password to see what they say and let us know how it goes!)

The one I found appears to use T-Mobile for network, so you might also try using a standard T-Mobile apn too.

Name: Project Fi - Tm
APN: h2g2
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: none
Password:
Server:
MMSC: httpmmsc1.g-mms.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: Not set
MMS port: Not set
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: Not set
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified

I solved ALL but one of these issues. It still shows 0 for the phone number. And here is what I did.

I installed TWPR Recovery.

I booted the phone into TWRP Recovery.

Press Wipe
Press Advanced Wipe
Check the following:
  Dalvik Cache
  System
  Data
  Internal Storage
  Cache

Swipe to Wipe

Download files from: https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=3.0
Odin the idoneapps Custom OK2ROM
Odin ChainfireAutoroot
Odin TWRW (because it's a great recovery)

Copy unlock.apk and imie.zip to main storage/download
Install unlock.apk
Press to Unlock, let phone reboot twice.
Change Network Mode to GSM/UMTS
Add APN (I'm on T-Mobile)

Reboot phone and it just works.

I did not touch the GFC Setting button.

I hope this helps future users.

I did not touch the GFC Setting button.

Thanks Gary for the details, by the way since your phone is a Note 3 you have to apply GCF Settings:
https://idoneapps.com/settings.php

You need to apply those at point 1.
See you ;-)

It's working fine without the settings.

This may enable hidden LTE bands disabled by default, but doesn't work allow you to add unlisted LTE bands.
I tryed to add LTE bands to the phone with QXDM Professional but I guess the hardware doesn't support them.

My Note 5 originally support these bands:
Band 2
Band 4
Band 5
Band 12
Band 25
Band 26
Band 41

I added bands 3,7 and 20 because I live in Italy and here we use those but I had no way to use the added bands.

By the way if you want I may write a tutorial for you to try anyway.

Right on. I went into the LTE settings the same way this thread instructed to go into the wcdma settings and i enabled all in both. I plan on using a carrier here in the US called straight talk that piggybacks off AT&T trancievers  and gives HSPA+ data here.

You have to change some lines in the /system/csc/others.xml file. I forget which ones cause I did so much testing, I lost track. But they will have to do with cdma ril settings. Also to get MMS to work when wifi is on, look for these lines
    <CscFeature_Message_SupportMmsBypassProxy>TRUE</CscFeature_Message_SupportMmsBypassProxy>
  <CscFeature_Message_SupportMmsThroughWifi>TRUE</CscFeature_Message_SupportMmsThroughWifi>

Change then to False
