Hi Bobbyfang,

please chek our FAQs, unlock section:
https://idoneapps.com/faq.php

If you live in the US you will be able to use 4g with AT&T and T-Mobile because they're updating their towers to work with 1900MHz.
See you ;-)

Hi, SM-G920P hardware supported LTE bands are the following:

B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1)
B5 (850)
B12 (700 ac)
B25 (1900 +)
B26 (850 +)
B41 (TD 2500)

If in Taiwan your carrier uses one of those bandwidths then you can get LTE, else no.
See you ;-)

CDMA network is for CDMA providers (Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Verizon etc...), if you're using a GSM provider (AT&T, T-Mobile etc..) you need to set the Network Type from the phone settings menu, to do it go to:
Settings > Connections > Networks > Network Type/Mode and change it to "GSM/UMTS" or "GSM/WCDMA auto".

If your phone is rooted the APN for your new carrier will be automatically set, else you also have to manually input/set it so your new providers data/internet will work. For your convenience we have listed the APN (Access Point Names) for common GSM Providers/Carriers in a APN settings topic of our forum: https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=23.0

About 4G what carrier are yo using now? Your phone does supports these LTE bands:
https://www.frequencycheck.com/models/OemwJ/samsung-sm-g920p-galaxy-s6-td-lte-samsung-zero-f
B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1)   LTE
B5 (850)   LTE
B12 (700 ac)   LTE
B25 (1900 +)   LTE
B26 (850 +)   LTE
B41 (TD 2500)

Is your carrier using one of the above?
See you ;-)

I have a Sprint Galaxy S6, see attachment for the Version.

Is it possible to SIM unlock this to use on T-mobile without ROOT?

Please advise what steps to follow. Thanks!

Hi Zalc,

your rom version is PJ1, we noticed that from PI0 Samsung added an anti-downgrade e-fuse protection, but we don't know if this is true for all the phone models, so please try to downgrade using these instructions: https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=237.0

Downgrading to PD2 will allow you to SIM unlock without root.
Don't be afraid of the anti-downgrade protection, if it is active on your rom version then Odin won't even start the flashing procedure and you will be able to turn off the phone with no problems. If that happens the only solution will be to root it.
See you ;-)
