Thank you for the prompt reply. Now I understand that "..OC5" was the ending code of a Software Version prior to OG1, & therefore, my phone meets that requirement.
Now, my question is, do I need to find a way to install Android Version 5.1.1 before I can follow the procedure; is Android Ver. 5.1.1 a prerequisite to complete the instructions listed here? If so, where can I find the instructions to upgrade Android Version?
Or, is it that the procedure explained by idone is going to upgrade my phone to 5.1.1?
"Re: How to root & Unlock S5 SM-G900P OG1 and above 5.1.1 for Global GSM"
To ask this another way, which of the following loquacious and overly detailed restatements of the title is correct in describing idone's procedure;
a) "how to root, Unlock for Global GSM, and upgrade to Android Ver. 5.1.1 any S5 SM-G900P phones that have Software Version OG1 (or newer) already installed," or
b) "how to root & Unlock for Global GSM any S5 SM-G900P phones that have Software Versions OG1 (or newer) and Android Versions 5.1.1 (or newer) already installed," or
"I like cooking, my family, and my pets," describes something very different without the commas; on the other hand, that may be precisely what was meant.
