the MSL is unique for each device.

Hello,

it is most likely due to an AT&T information spread delay, you should see such device blacklisted into all checkers anytime soon.

Support / Re: Unlocking 2 devices (financed?)
« on: October 12, 2018, 02:01:38 PM »
I'm answering you below:

a) Yes that's fine, anyway keep in mind that you have to continue paying for the device even if you unlock it because otherwise the original carrier will blacklist it for fraud.
Blacklisted means it cannot be used anymore, they IMEI is blocked, it could happens because of the above explanation or because someone reported such IMEI as stolen.
The above service will unlock the device globally, both domestic and international.

b) The J3 Emerge has a new protection, if it has been updated over a certain version our app won't be able to unlock it. Just install our app on such device, our app will notify you that's not supported if that's the case, otherwise you will be able to unlock it (root is required).

I don't think such problem (signal dropping) is related to the unlock method.

Ok, then please follow these steps, if the phone has a misconfigured setting it will work fine after:
https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=321.0

Then use our app again, if the problem persists then please send me the log.

Let me know.

What's the carrier for which you should add the APN?

I'd need you to send me the app log from the app top right menu button, using the item "Send log file".
Be sure to be connected to a Wi-Fi.

9
So it's the ADD button that's grayed out, that's odd.

Have you used our app to unlock your device? If so you should also have the APN and try the ##3282# mode.

What's the carrier for which you should add the APN?

10
Can you open the APN menu and save a screenshot then paste it here?

You can use this service to upload a picture: https://postimages.org/

11
Please follow these steps to add your carrier APN:

https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=23.0

If you look at the APN screen carefully you'll see a + icon on the top right corner, tap on that one to add an item.

HEllo Erikjarvis,

Hotspot unlock shouldn't require modem downgrade.
If you miss the Hotspot Menu then you should perform the full reset procedure in order to fix the issue:

Thanks Rose, anyway our procedure resets also the NV Items (service menu items) and the provisional setting.
Our procedure is needed to fix a misconfigured device.

What's your ROM version?

Flash a stock ROM, all the errors will be fixed, grab the ROM here:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/sm-j327p/SM-J327P/SPR

Please note that if you intend to unlock your device you shouldn't flash a QJ3 or above (QL3, RC1) ROM because our app isn't yet compatible with such ROM versions.

15
RD2 ROM has a new protection that requires root and modem downgrade.

To check the ROM version of your device please read this post: https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=147.0

1.) If your Sprint, Boost Mobile, Credo Mobile or Virgin Mobile SM-G930P or SM-G935P is on RD2 then you should root it, if needed please check these instructions: https://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=648.0
